Me and my Daisy

An actual conversation between my husband and me in the car just now that proves we're geriatric.

Sarah: (telling Adrian about our friend's fb status that talks about her daughter who is in the hospital with heart issues "being released tonight from the hospital and told to follow up with cardio this week.")

Sarah:  "following up with cardio, as in cardiology, not cardio as in Olivia Newton-John..."

Adrian:  "not cardio as in Gene Simmons?  Wait, isn't that Richard Simmons?"

Sarah: "Yeah, it's not Gene Simmons cardio as in (sticks tongue straight down and make the shout at the devil sign with hand) burning calories biting the heads off rats."

Adrian: "That was Ozzy Ozbourne."

Sarah: "Oh, that's right.  And it was a bat, not a rat."
